Ewa Piecuch is a figurative painter working in oil. The central motif of her work is the female portrait, treated as an insightful psychological study. In her works, she avoids literalism, focusing on the emotions that are most difficult to define: moments of suspension, quiet strength, and inner melancholy. She developed her painting skills at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, as well as during international courses (in Italy) under the guidance of renowned artists such as Agnes Grochulska, Tania Rivilis, and George Rorris. Her excellent sense of light and composition stems from her previous experience working in interior design and visual communication.
